The Forgotten Flag Foundation is dedicated to restoring and elevating flag displays across the United States. Our mission is simple: to educate and inspire citizens about the importance of honoring the American flag and displaying it with pride.
Too often, worn and neglected flags are left to fade unnoticed. That’s where we step in—restoring, replacing, and ensuring they fly with the dignity they deserve. Through educational outreach and community-driven initiatives, we promote proper flag etiquette and share the deeper meaning behind our nation’s most enduring symbol.

Our First Project
If you're from the Pittsburgh area, you’ve probably heard of Sarris Candies. Right in front of it—on Penn Transformer’s property—stood a rusted and weathered flagpole.
Our founder, Chris Staud, quickly took action. He arranged a meeting with Mr. Dennis Blake, General Manager of Penn Transformer, and with the enthusiastic support of Canonsburg’s Mayor, Mr. Dave Rhome, the plan started to take shape.
As Chris shared his vision, Dennis’s eyes lit up. He was all in. And with that, the journey began.
