About Forgotten Flag Foundation

Our Mission

The Forgotten Flag Foundation is committed to restoring and improving flag displays across America. Our mission is simple: to educate and inspire citizens on the importance of honoring the flag and displaying it with pride.

Too often, tattered and forgotten flags go unnoticed. We step in to restore, replace, and ensure they fly with the respect they deserve. Through education and community programs, we teach proper flag etiquette and the deeper meaning behind our nation’s most powerful symbol.

A properly displayed flag is more than just fabric—it’s a statement of unity, respect, and national pride. Join us in keeping this tradition alive. Support the Forgotten Flags Foundation today.

“How it all started” My fiancé Rachel, girlfriend at the time were sitting on the front porch. In front of us, we saw an empty flagpole, rusted and worn. Us being veterans, wanted to see Old Glory Flying … I made it my mission from that moment on to get that flagpole restored!

If you're from the Pittsburgh area, you've heard of Sarris Candy. This rusted and worn pole is right in front of  Sarris,  on Penn Transformer's property. I quickly arranged a meeting with the General Manager, Mr. Dennis Blake of Penn Transformer. With the support of our great Mayor of Canonsburg,          Mr. Dave Rhome to put this plan into action. As I spoke about my vision, Dennis's eye lit up, as he is just as patriotic as me! He was all in, so it began!

Now, bear in mind there is also our local mechanic, Nestor. His parking lot has the  best view of this of this flag pole. The garage is where hard working gentleman like myself collaborate at the end of a day and indulge in some beverages. The boys at the garage have heard of my dream for years...

Though I don't think the boys ever thought I'd go this far, they've been my biggest supporters. We live in a great community and we want to leave our foot print! Bring the community together. Bring back the PRIDE that aligns with the flag to our great community.
